O'Connor in for Cork - Wednesday, July 01, 2009
Kieran O'Connor has been drafted into the Cork half back line for Sunday's Munster SFC final against Limerick at Pairc Ui Chaoimh. O'Connor has been given the nod ahead of Ger Spillane to replace the suspended Noel O'Leary in the only change from the side that defeated Kerry in the semi-final replay. O'Leary and Kerry's Paul Galvin were both sent off on straight red cards following an off-the-ball incident during the first half of that game. The long-serving John Miskella has won his battle to be fit and lines out at right half back, while the towering Michael Cussen has to be content with a place on the subs bench once again.
