| Rebels march on - Sunday, July 18, 2010

Cork are into the last round of the qualifying series after a routine 0-12 to 0-5 win over Wexford at Wexford Park.
Daniel Goulding and Paddy Kelly were each on target twice as the Munster county led by 0-7 to 0-3 at the break. In truth, they were never really troubled at any stage in this game.
The Rebels got off to a purposeful start with three points inside the first ten minutes, to lead convincingly, but the Model men came back into it a little thereafter to remain in contention at the turnaround.
However, Jason Ryan's team managed just two scores after the break - from Mattie Forde and substitute Ben Brosnan - as Cork retained a firm grip of the game, 'winning' a forgettable second half by 0-5 to 0-2.
Conor Counihan's men were home and hosed with five minutes of the second half played, having slotted over a handful of quickfire points upon the resumption and they won handily despite failing to raise a flag in the last 30 minutes of play.
